Money. It sure doesn't grow on trees, does it? You can bet on this, if you do nothing, you will get nothing. So let's try to make the money we earn, work the best for us.

Let's face it, If you had a large budget to work with, marketing would be easy. Like most small business owners, the business we run on a daily basis is our livelihood. So let's start with some small budget ideas and and expand from there.

Let's Get Social!

Start out with guidelines and goals and expand from there. What's right for you? Facebook? Twitter? Instagram? Start with what you currently have and expand your audience.  Facebook allows you to create very inexpensive ads, pick demographics and also provide timing. Spread your ad out over a week, or make it happen all in one day? Don't be afraid to ask your friends who have many social media contacts to share your information and help you spread the word. You never know, they might need your help one day to do the same.

Whichever social media outlet you use, define your goals and track them for progress. If you find that something changes along the way, don't hesitate to go with the flow if it leads to more opportunity. Opportunity leads to customers, which allows you to retain customers and that affords you the ability to..... make money! Isn't that why we're in business?

Budget Friendly Images.

In today's world, smart phones are everywhere. Theses devices are fantastic tools to market your business. Take a picture what is relative to your business, upload it to your website and write an article about this product, place or idea. Tell everyone about it. Then link your blog article to your social media! Instant attention and traffic are always good.

If you're looking for some higher end images to REALLY show off your product invest in a HD Digital Camera. You can pick up a nice camera for a couple hundred dollars and make good use out of it. High definition brings out the color and passion in your products and really shows your audience the depth and detail of what you are selling. We live in very visual world where today's audience responds quickly to eye candy, AKA, visual stimulation. The better the picture, the better the product, more engagement brings more opportunity.

Blogging isn't just for Foodies!

One of the best ways to engage people is using your blog as a tool to reach your audience with interesting details about the service you provide or product you sell. There are several ways to reach out to your audience and share your blogs with them. Again, using your social media platform to keep your followers engaged and using your website where you can write a list of articles and then share those articles to your your audience. Sometimes it's difficult to gather your thoughts and sit down to write an article. But believe me, it's worth the time and effort.

Search Engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo have been clear all along that keyword rich, engaging content, with unique detail are what their algorithms are seeking. If you write it, they will come!
